Refund policy

All sales are final.
We do not accept returns or issue refunds for change of mind, sizing issues, or any reason other than a defective, damaged, or incorrect item.

 

Defective, Damaged, or Incorrect Items — Full Refund or Replacement

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we will offer either a full refund to your original payment method or a free replacement — your choice.

  • Report window: Please contact us within 7 days of delivery
  • What to include: Your order number, a brief description of the issue, and clear photos of the item and packaging

If a return is required, we will provide a prepaid return label and instructions. Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges.
If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, you may choose between a full refund or a free replacement as outlined above.

 

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Legal Right)

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the legal right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason.

  • Items must be unused, unworn, with tags, and in original packaging
  • You must contact us within 14 days at support@thejewelryplanet.com to initiate the return
  • Once received and inspected, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method

This EU right applies notwithstanding the “All sales are final” policy above.

Australia – Consumer Rights & Returns

If your order is shipped to Australia, your purchase is covered under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

Under ACL, customers are entitled to a replacement or refund if a product:

  • Is faulty or defective
  • Is not as described
  • Does not do what it is supposed to do

Please note:

  • We do not offer refunds for change of mind under any circumstances
  • You must contact us within a reasonable time of receiving the product
  • Evidence (such as photos) may be required to assess your claim

If your claim is valid, we will provide a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.


 

Refund Timing (Defective/Incorrect Items or EU Cooling-Off Only)

Once we confirm eligibility and (if required) receive the returned item:

  • Refunds are processed within 10 business days
  • Your bank or card provider may take additional time to post the funds
